WARNING: Over a Foot of Snow Possible by Monday

Sunday and Monday will be snow filled especially in the mountains. Valleys could get up to 8 inches of fresh snow and perhaps 16 inches in the mountains by late Monday morning.

According to the National Weather Service:

WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING
TO 10 AM MONDAY.

• WHAT...Heavy snow expected.
• Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches at lower elevations and 8 to 16 inches in the mountains are expected.
• Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
• WHERE...Gallatin.
• WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 10 AM MST Monday.
• Travel could be very difficult.
• Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
