For the love of everything holy, be smart and don't do this challenge.

The USA Today is reporting that people on the popular app TikTok have been doing a new challenge called the 'Benadryl Challenge'. This has caused folks to overdose on the over the counter drug from participating.

The Federal Drug Administration has issued a warning about doing this challenge. The FDA noted that ingesting high quantities of this product can cause 'serious problems'.

What are the 'serious problems'? The Federal Drug Administration stated taking too much Benadryl can lead to serious heart problems, seizures, coma and can possibly kill you.

TikTok has made the right move to remove these videos that are associated with the challenge to discourage more people in participating. Now if you search for the challenge you will get a warning saying that 'this phrase may be associated with behavior or content that violates our guidelines'. There will be zero video results.

We should be happy that the Federal Drug Administration and TikTok moved quickly on this to make sure no one else gets the idea to do the 'Benadryl Challenge'. We are just a few years removed from people trying to consume Tide pods cause they thought it was candy and not laundry detergent for some reason.

Listen, I am all for people doing challenges but if it could kill you, why are you doing it? That makes zero sense. It's not like the ice bucket challenge that actually raised money for a cause. Then again many people will do whatever they can do to get their 15 minutes of fame.

Stay safe Gallatin Valley.
