People are crazy for Montana. They have it in their heads that they HAVE to live here. Why, though? Usually because of the beautiful mountain views and all the outdoor fun you can have. But from what I have gathered, it seems like most people come here for the views.

But does Bozeman really have the "most beautiful views" in this area?

Housing prices in Bozeman are high. Bozeman actually has 10% fewer houses available this year than it did last year. You can read Bozeman/Montana housing statics below.

HERE ARE THE FACTS ABOUT HOUSING IN BOZEMAN

I drive back and forth from Belgrade to Bozeman quite often, and I may get some backlash for this, but I think Belgrade has better views than Bozeman. I mostly drive East Valley Center Road, and this view never gets old.

There, I said it. When you are driving down Jackrabbit Lane in Belgrade, you can see ALL the mountains that surround our valley.

There are not nearly as many newly constructed apartment buildings going up every month or high rises shadowing the roofs of the homes that have been here for years. Plus, housing prices are a bit lower.

Personally, if you are moving to Bozeman because you want those epic Montana views, you can save a few bucks and get more mountain views if you move to Belgrade. The people are friendly, the businesses are great, and as I mentioned, the unobstructed views are incredible.

So I said it and I'll say it again; Belgrade has better mountain views than Bozeman. Now, of course, this is just my opinion, but after a drive down Jackrabbit Lane or East Valley Center Road on a clear day, you may just have to agree with me.

This Family Friendly "Montana Town" Is Frozen In Time

One of the coolest places to check out in Montana is the "Old Montana" town of Nevada City. Located just on the other side of Virginia City, Nevada City is the perfect example of what life was like back during the gold rush in the 1800s.

With several different buildings to tour and friendly folks to guide you through your visit, as well as tell you the stories of the times, Nevada City is not only educational but fun for the whole family.
