Montana State Football Ranked High For Preseason Top 25

Montana State Bobcat football had an incredible 2019 season that sadly ended with them losing in the semi finals of the FCS playoffs.

With football just a few months away, HERO Sports released their rankings for their Top 25 preseason teams and MSU landed in the Top 10.

MSU was ranked 9th in this poll and this is their highest preseason ranking since 2013, when they were ranked 2nd.

MSU were joined by several other Big Sky Conference teams including Sacramento State at #4, Weber State at #6, University of Montana at #7 and Eastern Washington at #18.

The reason why MSU is ranked lower that U of M, Weber State and Sac State is MSU lost some big pieces to their team on offense and defense.

The thing is though, MSU likes to surprise people and we could have even better year in 2020.
