Is This The Best Outdoor Dining Experience in Montana?
Dining outside on a nice summer evening can add a lot to your food experience.
Lovefood made a list of the Best Restaurant for Outdoor Dining in Every State, and Montana's pick is just down the road from Bozeman. Any guesses as to what it is?
According to Lovefood, Yellowstone Valley Lodge and Grill in Livingston has the best outdoor dining in Montana. This restaurant sits right next to the Yellowstone River and has gorgeous mountain views. The menu is great, and the desserts sound lovely. The best part is you don't have to stay at the lodge to enjoy the dining experience.
If you'd prefer to stay in the Bozeman area, rather than travel for your outdoor dining experience, there are a few restaurants that may be right up your alley.
Ted's Montana Grill has a backyard patio that is secluded, peaceful, and occasionally has live music. The only problem you will have here is that tourists overrun this restaurant during the summers, so you'll have to plan ahead and make a reservation, or get there early.
Next is Taproom Bozeman on Mendenhall and Rouse Avenue. Taproom Bozeman has a rooftop patio with great views of the Bridger Mountains and Bozeman. The view is especially stunning at sunset—the perfect time and place for a beer and an appetizer.
Finally, there is MAP Brewing Company. MAP has an amazing outdoor area to enjoy high-quality beer and fantastic food. It's also located away from downtown Bozeman and the tourist-season chaos.
