Is Regal Unlimited Worth The Monthly Fee?

Going to the movies can get quite costly, even if you use any discount you can get but recently Regal Cinemas has been making a big push for their Regal Unlimited subscription.

If you don't know what that is, it's essentially a monthly fee where you can go to as many movies as you want, at any time, for the low price of $18 a month.

I got Regal Unlimited as a birthday gift to myself(I love going to the movies) and if this actually saves me money I was all for it.

So last week I tried it out and it works perfectly. I chose a movie through the Regal App and got my ticket for the movie right away, and because it was my birthday month, they gave me a free large popcorn and large soda for free as well(that was a nice touch especially that probably costs around $20).

Plus, you get 10% off all concession items(that's where cinemas make their real money).

Also, there aren't any blackout dates either.

There is some fine print with this subscription though. If you go to a 3D movie you will have to pay the surcharge and there is a convenience fee for every ticket you get which is only 50 cents.

Honestly, if you use Regal Unlimited twice in a month it pays for itself and if you love going to the movies this is the real deal and I highly recommend it.
