One Area The City of Bozeman Needs To Upgrade Immediately
Even though Bozeman is a beautiful place to live, some spots could use funds to upgrade their area.
We are fortunate to live in such a beautiful area. The City of Bozeman has gone to great lengths to keep every park impeccable and beautiful. Bozeman even announced adding more dog parks in the next couple of years. Having parks for locals to hang out, walk around, or have a picnic is vital to our community. Parks bring people together, and it's a huge asset.
Over the past few years, the City of Bozeman has been setting funding aside to help upgrade several of the large parks, and it's been amazing.
The only problem is some parks in the Bozeman area need some upgrades but have been overlooked.
One of those parks is the Bozeman Softball Complex. This park has been a point of interest for baseball, softball, and little guy football. During the summer, these fields are filled with folks playing softball, and during the weekends, there are multiple tournaments.
So why does this park need upgrades? The concession stand/bathrooms were built in the late 1970s and haven't changed. The bathrooms are outdated and need a massive upgrade to handle the people who play in the local softball league.
This area is long overdue for some love, and with all the new buildings constructed around the fields, it would be wise to add some new features to the complex. Plus, the city uses the parking lot for the Fourth of July fireworks show.
The complex needs funds to help upgrade the thousands of people who use the park weekly. It seems like it would be easy, right?
