It's going to be one busy week up on the campus of Montana State University.

Montana State University announced a few weeks ago that instead of a one day move in for new and returning Montana State students, they have turned it into a whole week due to COVID-19 pandemic. They did this to spread out the amount of people on campus and practice social distancing.

MSU's Move in Week starting Monday, August 10th and goes through Sunday, August 16th and now Montana State University is looking for volunteers to help out.

Volunteers will be helping greeting vehicles up on the campus, directing students and families to registration areas and disinfect and manage carts. All volunteers will be placed outside of residence halls to they can keep within the guidelines of the COVID-19 rules.

Volunteers will not touch student belongings as well. Face masks will also be required.

All volunteer shifts are just three hours long and you can choose times anywhere form 7 AM to 7 PM form Monday, August 10th through Sunday, August 16th.

This is a great opportunity to give a warm welcome to new and returning students to Bozeman and Montana State during these wild times.

So if you have some free time, go volunteer and help some students move in quickly and safely to Montana State University.

Also, if you use the streets around campus to get around you might want to choose a detour or new route next week because it will be packed with cars and families. Just a little tip.
