We have all experienced driving through town or sitting at home and hearing sirens. Whether it's a fire truck, ambulance, or police vehicle, the question of "I wonder what happened" visits our minds.

In the last week, the Bozeman police department has responded to over 860 calls with some of those calls including other agencies for assistance.

There were 105 calls for traffic stops, so perhaps you guys are right when you say we have some really crappy drivers here in Bozeman.

93 calls came in for "follow-ups" regarding previous calls to the Bozeman Police Department, and 81 calls with requests for a patrol check. I wasn't entirely sure what a "patrol check" was, but it's apparently just a call to the police to have them "check something" whether it be a property, a situation, or whatever the case may be.

With 866 calls coming in just in the last week, I was curious as to how many came in over the last 30 days. I went to Bozeman.net to get the details and what I found was a bit disturbing. The number just seems incredibly large!

In the past 30 days, there have been 4,143 calls to the police department. Keep in mind the last 20 days do include Halloween, and I am guessing there were quite a few calls on that day alone.

If you want to see a more in-depth report about the calls that came in over the last couple of days, weeks, or months, you can follow the link below and see just whereabouts the incidents took place.
