The Bozeman Airport seems to add new and exciting routes all the time. Plus, airlines like JetBlue, Southwest, and Avelo, who have never been in the Montana market, are trying to get revenue from these passengers. It's great news for Montana folks who want cheap flights and local businesses who depend on money from tourists.

Even though the Bozeman Airport gets most of these exciting routes, two airports in Montana are adding new flights in 2024 that will be a massive hit with locals.

Simple Flying announced that budget airline Sun Country will add new routes to Minneapolis at Missoula and Billings airports in 2024. Sun Country Airlines has been operating its seasonal flight from Bozeman to Minneapolis for over three years and has been thriving with locals.

These new seasonal flights from the Missoula and Billings airports will run from June 2024 through August 2024.

Sun Country Airlines' model is like other budget airlines, like Allegiant or Southwest, with direct nonstop flights and affordable prices.

Flights to Minneapolis are one of the most popular tickets out of Montana. The state has a decent population from Minnesota, and having an affordable flight option to one of the closest metropolitan areas to Montana is a win-win.

We hope Sun Country evolves and turns this flight from a seasonal flight to a year-round one. The only other airline offering nonstop flights to Minneapolis is Delta, and it can get expensive.
