As a person who is horrifically afraid of heights, I don't plan on stepping foot near this place. I would probably pass out.

Love Exploring came out with an awesome list of the Most Terrifying Attractions in Every State and the spot they chose can send tingles down your spine. The most terrifying attraction in Montana is Lone Peak at Big Sky.

So if you don't know, Lone Peak is the crown jewel of Big Sky Resort, not only because it's the tallest mountain at the resort but the views are breathtaking at almost 12,000 feet and have views of everything. Bozeman, Yellowstone National Park, you name it, Lone Peak has it.

The reason why this was chosen as the most terrifying is probably for good reason, when you are on top of Lone Mountain there is nowhere to go but down and it's straight down. Skiing or snowboarding down from Lone Peak is not for the faint of the heart.

As a person who does enjoy going skiing when I have free time in the winter, I can understand the appeal but honestly, I would probably faint being that high. I can barely look out the airplane window when I fly. So that's why Lone Peak is so terrifying.

Well, if you are a person who loves being pushed to their limits and want to try something new, well this winter you should pack up your board or skis and head to Big Sky Resort, take the tram to Lone Peak and see what is so terrifying about that mountain.
