The Montana State Men's Basketball games for February 18 and February 20 have been canceled due to COVID-19.

The Bobcats released the statement below on Monday, February 15.

The Montana State University men's basketball program is unable to participate in competition at this time, due to one or more individuals being identified as either needing to quarantine or isolate due to COVID-19. The scheduled games between Montana State and Idaho State on Feb. 18 and Feb. 20 will not be played. At this time, Big Sky Conference basketball games that are canceled will not be rescheduled.

The MSU Men's Basketball team was scheduled to play Idaho State this week, and both games have been canceled out of precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19 to other players and staff.

Previously in the season, games against Southern Utah and the University of Montana were canceled to due players on opposing teams either needing to quarantine or isolate due to COVID-19.

The MSU Men's Basketball team is currently 6-4 in conference play and is ranked #5 in the Big Sky. Last week, the Bobcats suffered back-to-back losses against Eastern Washington, the #1 team in the Big Sky Conference.

The Montana State Women's Basketball games this week will still go on as scheduled. They will face the Idaho State Bengals on Thursday, February 18, and Saturday, February 20.

Both games will be aired on the Bobcat Radio Network and 1450 KMMS-AM. Tip-off times for both games are listed below.
