Montana Drivers: This Is NOT How to Navigate a Roundabout
Roundabouts have been a controversial topic for many Montana residents.
Compared to stop signs, traffic signals, and earlier forms of roundabouts, modern roundabouts reduce the likelihood of collisions by reducing traffic speeds and minimizing head-on collisions.
The Montana Department of Transportation has provided instructional videos to help motorists navigate roundabouts safely.
While the video above shows us how to navigate a roundabout properly, the video below is a great example of what NOT to do.
The video was taken in Long Beach, California, not Montana. In the video, a vehicle launches approximately 15 feet in the air after smashing into a boulder in the roundabout.
