For many, Montana is a place where the wealthy are pitted against the not-so-wealthy.

Over the last decade or so, more and more wealthy folks have been moving to Montana on a permanent or semi-permanent basis. Which Montana town has been labeled the poorest?

According to the folks over at US Culture, the poorest town in Montana is Havre. Havre, which is located in the northern part of the state and is nicknamed "the Crown Jewel of the Hi-Line".

Havre has a population of around 10 thousand and is a railroad town. However, like many old railroad towns, it's seen better days.

One of the highlights of Havre is the Wahkpa Chu'gn Buffalo Jump. The Buffalo Jump is over 2000 years old and is one of the best-preserved jumps in the world. It's located right behind the Holiday Village Shopping Center and is available for tours.
