Here’s What You Can Do To Ease COVID-19 Fatigue
The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on people in many different ways. Small businesses have been hit especially hard, and as things begin to reopen, the future is a little difficult to be optimistic about.
With summer right around the corner, many of us want to get back to having BBQs with our friends and family, enjoying family gatherings, and taking vacations.
According to Gallatin County officials, COVID-19 fatigue is real. Here’s what you can do to help ease that fatigue:
- Extend patience and grace. These are uncertain times for everyone and everyone responds differently.
- Being asked to wear a face covering is a difficult topic. Businesses and organizations are asking that people wear them as a safety precaution, much like shoes are required to enter those establishments.
- Limit your news and social media exposure to fifteen minutes in the morning and in the evening. This gives your brain time to relax and to focus on other things. The fifteen minute increments let you stay up on any need-to-know changes and the current situation.
- We are all in this together. We all want to be healthy. Focus on the things you have in common with others, not the differences.
