My Girl Nikki

So if your a listener or who knows ever tuned in you probably know that I love my girl Nikki Minaj. I can still remember coming into the studio like "Chad, Chad you have got to check out this music video Massive Attack with this artist Nikki Minaj!" To say the least Chadwick did not share the same enthusiasm as me but that did not stop me. I loved her and loved that music video so once she started dropping versus on tracks with Lil Wayne, Drake, Mariah Carey so forth I was totally sold. She just always intrigued me with the different voices, the funny faces, the bangs I mean the list continues so when I found out she was coming out with her solo album I could not wait. Now I know it dropped last friday but I waited watch interviews, watched her BET special Pink Friday (the whole show dedicated to her album dropping), caught up with the drama between her and Lil Kim I mean I had to be on top of my game!

Sooooooo....what I am getting too is that I finally got it and have been excited to share what I think about it. Nikki Minaj has taken a lot of heat for not being able to show up as a solo artist. There was a lot of speculation saying she can only drop verses on other artists tracks, which heck ya she can do that for sure, but she can also step up and perform as a solo artist. I already knew that I loved her track Right Thru Me so as I popped in the cd to jam I wasn't disappointed!!! I don't want to give all the tracks away because I want ya ll to check it out but here are some of my favorites; Roman's Revenge, Blazin with Kanye, Here I Am and I'm The Best just to list a few.
