Would You Like a Direct Flight To Canada From Bozeman?
The airport in Bozeman is busy with so many passengers and business, it wouldn't be surprising if the airport made a big move like this.
The Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport recently broke a record of over two million passengers in a year, and it's not surprising. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bozeman Airport was the busiest in Montana and was busy with passengers coming to and from destinations all over the United States.
In 2021, the Bozeman Airport added the beloved Southwest Airlines and consistently added new, fun destinations for locals to travel to in the future. The thing is, there is one flight I could see the Bozeman Airport add shortly, and it would make the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport an international airport.
The Points Guy announced Air Canada has announced they've added several new routes to restore their North America network and help bring more passengers to our neighbor to the north. Even though Bozeman wasn't named, that doesn't mean Bozeman could be in the works for the future.
Bozeman is a highly sought-after destination year-round for skiing, snowboarding, Yellowstone National Park, and Montana State University. If Air Canada added a flight to the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, they would need to pick a destination that would be popular for both locations.
Our first thought was Vancouver in British Columbia. Located right on the West Coast of Canada and is close to several highly regarded ski resorts. Vancouver would be a hit with a lot of locals who love to travel while skiing or snowboarding. The other destination would have to be Calgary, Alberta. One of their most populous cities, Calgary has an NHL team and is right next to Lake Louise, one of the most gorgeous places on Earth.
I think it's time for the Bozeman Yellowstone International Aiport to finally add a fun international destination that would be popular year-round, and that makes sense. So why not add an Air Canada route to Vancouver or Calgary? What do we have to lose?
Keep an eye on the Bozeman Airport.
