Winter Storm Watch Issued for Gallatin and Surrounding Counties

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch from late Wednesday night through Friday morning.

WHAT...Moderate to heavy snow possible with highly variable snow totals. Snow totals of 2 to 8 inches possible along the plains and valleys. In the mountains, snow totals of 8 to 16 inches, with localized totals up to 2 feet, are possible.

WHERE...Madison, Judith Basin, Fergus, Meagher, and Gallatin Counties.

WHEN...From late Wednesday night through Friday morning

ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the evening commute on Thursday. Significant reductions in visibility are possible.
