Where to Go in Bozeman for National Hot Dog Day
It's National Hot Dog Day, and I thought I would give my thoughts on where you should go if you want to have a delicious hot dog in the Gallatin Valley.
About a week ago, I did a blog post when Yeti Dogs in Big Sky was named the best place in Montana to get a hot dog. If you want to stay local, though, here are a few spots you should check out here in Bozeman:.
1.Paulie's Hot Dogs and Deli
Paulie's Hot Dogs and Deli is the spot to go to for all different kinds of hot dogs, brats and sausages. I personally customize my own because I am a crazy person, but if you want to go from their menu, I highly recommend their Chicago dog or New Yorker. Classics but amazingly delicious.
2. Schudogs
If you can find this hot dog cart it's worth every single penny. They are usually downtown on Main Street during lunch Tuesday through Friday. They are also at the Bogert Farmer's Market every Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. They have fantastic gourmet hot dogs from the foot-long beef hot dog to their bison brat and recently they even added a boar sausage.
3. Burger Bob's
This is probably your best bang for your buck. They have a kids hot dog, but they also have on their menu a Super Dog Combo, which is two hot dogs on a hamburger bun. The combo is only $9 and you get fries and a drink with that too. If you are on a budget it's perfect and will fill you up.
Let me know if I missed anywhere in the Gallatin Valley that serves or has amazing hot dogs. Let me know!
