Snowmobilers kept the Gallatin County Sheriff Search and Rescue busy with several calls southwest of West Yellowstone this weekend.

A 43-year-old man had suffered injuries when the snowmobile he was riding left the trail and struck a tree.

Over the weekend the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots being fired north of West Yellowstone.

The fun, easy to use electric scooters have been gaining more traction in the northwest.
