If you are making travel plans this summer you might want to give this one a look in case you are looking to save some money.

The Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport announced that budget airline Sun Country Airlines will be expanding their seasonal flight to Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Their flight to Minneapolis/St. Paul was just a summer seasonal flight but they will be expanding it to be a winter seasonal flight as well starting in winter 2021.

Sun Country Airlines is in the same vein as Allegiant Airlines. They offer popular destinations with extremely affordable prices and their flights to Minneapolis/St. Paul were very popular before the COVID-19 pandemic and with this expansion shows the high demand for that flight. Minneapolis is always a high demand flight for connections to many flights through the Midwest or the east coast and as of right now the only other airline that offers a direct flight to Minneapolis is Delta Airlines.

Montana and especially Bozeman has a big population of citizens from the Minnesota area or family from there and this flight has always been immensely popular with people who don't want to make that long drive, especially in the winter. If the flight keeps gaining popularity I wouldn't be surprised if we see this flight becomes a year round flight like Allegiant Airlines has with their flights to Nashville, Las Vegas, and Phoenix/Mesa.

This is just another great announcement of a long line of pretty fantastic news coming out of the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport not only for this summer but all year long.
