Alcohol Getting Banned From Certain Airlines

Well, this is going to damper a lot of folk's flights especially if they are hoping to have a little fun on an airplane.

Best Life is reporting that a few airlines have announced that they will stop selling and serving alcohol on their flights. This includes Southwest Airlines, which won't sell alcohol through 2021 and American Airlines is doing the same while the mask mandate is in effect.

The reasoning behind the ban is due to the spike in unruly passengers and to keep other travelers safe. This also includes how you won't be able to bring to-go beverages from bars in terminals on planes as well. These airlines are just trying to figure out the best way to keep the peace.

I think the sale of alcohol also depends on the duration of your flight. I was flying back from Denver on United and they announced right when we got in the air they wouldn't be serving alcohol. Makes sense but a nice beer is nice sometimes.

Southwest and American Airlines fly out of the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport and have some pretty popular flights to Denver, Dallas, and Las Vegas. So we can imagine if you are flying to Las Vegas on Southwest you might want to get to the airport a little bit early to have a beer or shots at the new terminal bar they have.
