Shots Fired! UM Football Coach Questions MSU Mascot Name

With the Brawl of the Wild coming up on Saturday between the University of Montana Grizzlies and Montana State Bobcats, both teams are trying to watch what they say about each other.

Still, the Griz coach Bobby Hauck had an interesting question about the Bobcat's mascot Champ. Watch the video.

How dare he come at our beloved mascot like that? Champ is a saint!

To be fair though, why is our mascot named Champ? It's a good question.

We looked all over and couldn't find a reason why our mascot is called Champ.

If anyone has that answer, we would greatly appreciate it.
