Record Setting Numbers for Visitors at MT State Parks
As glorious and beautiful as Yellowstone and Glacier National Park are, Montana's State Parks are just as fantastic in my opinion and from the looks of it so do others.
KBZK is reporting that Montana State Parks saw a record setting year for visitors. Montana State Parks saw a record three million visitors January through September. That's over a twenty percent increase from last year.
The cool thing is about Montana State Parks is that there are fifty five parks to choose from all over the state. From chillin on Flathead Lake to digging up dinosaur bones at Makoshika State Park to close by Bozeman at Missouri Headwaters State Park. There are plenty to choose from.
When I was growing up as a kid in Polson, Montana we had a boat and I never realized this when I was younger but we would always go to Finley Point State Park(great spot to go camping and you are on the water) to put in our boat. Finley Point State Park is off the beaten path of the highway but the view makes it worth the trip checking out.
That's the best part of Montana State Parks. They can range from huge areas to small areas. They all have camping, bathroom facilities and each one offers different activities. Whether you want to go for hikes or just get away from people and just vibe with nature there is a Montana State Park for you.
