With Phase 1 already under way here in Gallatin County, sports could be returning soon in Phase 2 but when will that get announced.

The Gallatin Valley Softball League has been a staple of the spring/summer seasons and has a huge following. Over 100 teams play in various levels of league play every year and it's a great community but when could we see it return?

If it's anything like what Billings has planned, pretty soon.

The Billings Softball Association announced on their Facebook page that they are have established guidelines and recommendations for when softball is allowed to come back.

The post is long but thorough and makes total sense.

One of the big takeaways is that USA Softball of Montana won't allow teams in-state cross the Continental Divide to play each other.

Also, no bleacher seating either, fans will have to bring their own chairs.

So teams here in Bozeman could play in Billings, Helena, Great Falls and even Lewistown but won't be able to play in Butte, Missoula or Kalispell.

Even though Gallatin County has had the highest amount of cases in Montana we have had zero active cases in the past few weeks, which is huge.

Could we see the league starting soon? Let's hope so.
