Montana State University announced today that they have been named 'Tree Campus USA' for the eighth consecutive year by the Arbor Day Foundation.

MSU achieved this award by meeting several different standards including having a tree advisory committee, observing Arbor Day, dedicating money to towards trees and many others.

Every year MSU plants trees on Arbor Day and have planted 69 trees total so far.

Montana State wants to not only promote education but want to make the campus a place where students can love being outside of the buildings and enjoy their surroundings.
