Montanans want to live in a safe place. It could be their neighborhood, town, or city, but folks don't want to worry about if there are criminals around the corner. Locals will keep tabs on police pages or websites to stay in the loop of what could happen in their area.
What if you wanted to know if there are wanted people in your area?
The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office posts a Wanted Wednesday on their Facebook page of folks who skipped bail or have warrants for arrest. The most famous wanted list is the FBI's Top 10 Most Wanted for the most dangerous criminals.
What you might know is Montana has their own Most Wanted List.
The U.S. Marshalls has three Montana men who are wanted and are at large for various crimes. Here's what to know.
- David Earl Burgett, Jr.-Wanted for violating conditions for supervised release and firing upon law enforcement officers in Missoula County. He's considered armed and extremely dangerous.
- Jesse Allen Pearson-Wanted for violating parole of supervised release. He was convicted of felony possession of a firearm.
- John Baptiste Reamer-Wanted for conditional release following a conviction of aggravated assault
These are currently the most high-profile cases for the U.S. Marshall office. Remember, don't try to apprehend these criminals by yourself.
