Montana’s Favorite ‘Classic’ TV Show May Surprise You
There's just something comforting about watching some of your favorite TV shows from back in the day. Perhaps it's that you know how things are going to turn out or just that you are already familiar with the characters. If you like to throw it back and watch old shows over and over then you're not alone.
A new study compiled a list of America's Most Popular Classic TV Show For Every State. It was conducted by using Google Trends data from the last year by CoverntryDirect.com.
Here are some of the most popular classic TV shows for each state:
- Montana: Mork & Mindy
- Wyoming: The Carol Burnett Show
- Idaho: The A-Team
- Colorado: The Addams Family
- South Dakota: The Brady Bunch
- Alaska: Star Trek
- California: I Love Lucy
- Illinois: The Dick Van Dyke Show
- Ohio: Cheers
- Maine: M*A*S*H
- Alabama: Bewitched
- Delaware: Leave it to Beaver
Overall the most popular TV shows across the country were The Brady Bunch and The Addams Family. These shows were number one in four states.
These classic shows aired way before the days of Netflix and Hulu, most were shown on Nickelodeon’s Nick at Nite and other similar networks that were family-oriented. I remember watching a fair number of these shows as I was growing up. Though I have never seen an episode of Mork & Mindy, I do remember The Brady Bunch, I Love Lucy, Cheers, M*A*S*H, Bewitched, Leave it to Beaver, I Dream of Jeanie, The Andy Griffiths Show, and Happy Days. Do you remember any TV Shows that didn't make the list?
The next time you're looking for something to watch, why not throw it back to some of these great shows you know and love. Who knows you may enjoy some of these nostalgic favorites!
