Montana was one of the first places to add some characteristics to their Santa Claus.
Thrillist reports that Montana is home to a unique Santa Claus representing our state.
In the small town of Ovando, they host an Old West Christmas Fest that includes a cowboy Santa Claus.
Who wouldn't love a Santa Claus with a six-shooter, a duster coat, and a horse to deliver presents to children?
A Cowboy Santa Clause is no stranger to Montana.
Several towns and cities host Christmas celebrations or events with a Cowboy Santa Claus.
How do the kids feel about it? They love it.
They sit on the saddle, tell Santa what they want, and get to explain to their friends how they met a Wild West Santa.
Who wouldn't want that memory forever?
Other states like Texas, Wyoming, and more have adopted a Cowboy Santa Claus, but Montana was the first to make him ours.
