From the looks of these stats, Montana could be doing better.

Wallet Hub recently came out with two articles that are pretty interesting. One is States with the Best and Worst Community Colleges and The Best and Worst Community Colleges in the United States.

For the States with the Best and Worst Community Colleges, Montana came in on the list at #29. The surprising thing about that list is that Wyoming came in at #1.

Then when you look at the Best and Worst Community Colleges Montana is in a bit of rough shape. The highest rated community college is Miles City Community College at #177.

After that Montana isn't in the best shape. Out of the nine community colleges Montana has, Miles City Community College scored just above a 59 points. After that Montana could be doing a lot better.

Community colleges are great, especially for folks who might not have the money or grades to get into the big universities or private colleges. They provide quick two year associate degrees or help students move on to bigger universities to further their education.

Community colleges also usually offer classes at all times of the day due to the fact that a good chunk of students are full time workers as well.

It's just wild to look at the Best and Worst Community Colleges graph and see that Wyoming, who has the smallest population in the United States, has five community colleges ranked in the Top 40. That's incredible.
