Money Williams

Money Williams is a Sophomore guard from Oakland, California, and his story is inspiring.

Money Williams lost his father in 2023 and lost his mother this past October. This loss has forced Money to become the parental figure to his siblings.

To help with the burden, Money started a GoFundMe.

This fund is to help with expenses and more for his siblings.

He had raised nearly $70,000, but that changed a few weeks ago.

Tennessee Vols Step Up

The Montana Grizzlies faced off against the Tennessee Volunteers a few weeks ago. The Grizzlies lost the game, but Money Williams scored 30 points and impressed the Vols fans at the game.

The fans found out about his situation and GoFundMe. Since the game, the GoFundMe is over $142,000.

The outpouring of support from Tennessee fans and other college basketball spectators is beautiful.

The story has reached major sports outlets like ESPN and Fox Sports.

Everyone is rooting for this young man and his family.

We wish him the best of luck on the season.
