Earlier this week the Belgrade Police Department issued a warning about a suspect who was wearing a fluorescent vest claiming to work for NorthWestern Energy.  The police and NorthWestern Energy have been working together to ease concerns.

NorthWestern Energy released a map (below) of where their employees will be conducting leak assessment surveys. If you are located in the test area you can expect an official visit from NorthWestern Energy. They remind residents that they do not need access to your home and their employees will have identification.

Originally, a Belgrade resident reported a man who approached her home and was peering in the windows. He then proceeded to ask several suspicious questions about the security of the home.

It's such a shame that someone is taking advantage of the companies routine inspections. If you have any concerns you call always call NorthWestern Energy at 888-467-2669.
