UPDATE: It looks like Lil Pump might've just been playing around when he said he was leaving weed behind. On Monday (March 18), just hours after he claimed he'd quit, the rapper posted a video of himself smoking some weed onto his Instagram account.

"What you thought was gonna stop smoking? Is you stupid? Is you dumb?" Pump asks the camera.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Lil Pump says he's just kicked another drug habit.

On Monday (March 18), the Florida rapper jumped onto his Instagram story to announce that he's leaving weed in the past. "Guys, I came to a conclusion today. I'm done smoking weed, man," Pump says moments before he chucks a bag of weed out of his car window. "It's a waste of fucking time and bullshit and money and all that."

This isn't the first time Pump kicked a drug habit. In January 2018, the 18-year-old rapper announced that he'd quit using Xanax. His good friend Smokepurpp followed suit and stopped using Xans as well.

Now that he's off weed, Pump can focus on promoting his latest album, Harverd Dropout. He just dropped a video for his latest Lil Wayne-assisted single, "Be Like Me." On the song, Pump makes the point that everyone wants to live the life of a rap superstar.

"Everybody wanna be like Pump (Ooh), Everybody got fake dreads and love to take drugs (Yeah)," Pump raps in his verse. "I do this, bitch you do whatever you want (Huh?)/Yes, I'm hella ignorant, I don't give a fuck/ And everybody wanna be like 'Ye (Ye), everybody wanna go and smash Kim K (Ooh, yeah)."
