One thing that is necessary on any road trip is snacks. While filling up your gas tank before the trip, you need some nutrients to keep you going. Some folks grab candy, chips, or trail mix, but one of the best road trip snacks is jerky.

It's cool to know that one of the best road trip snacks is made in a town where no one would expect it. Lincoln is a fantastic little town with a ton of personality, and this realization makes Lincoln even better.

I love Lincoln for the views and an incredible steakhouse, but this town keeps surprising me.
