Happy Birthday America! Here's How Montana Is Celebrating Freedom

Today the greatest country on the planet turns 246 years old. Happy Birthday to the United States of America.

We've seen a whole lot of stuff in that amount of time, but here we are and we're still going. When you look back at the history of this great nation, it certainly leaves little doubt, at least in my mind, that the good Lord has had His hand in it.

Of course, when it comes to the love of country, Montana ranks near the top. Most Montanans are fiercely patriotic and support the freedoms that our Constitution grants us.

While Montana ranks 44th in population with just over a million people, we rank 3rd in states with the most veterans per capita. So what does that say? It says that when it comes to serving our country, Montanans are at the front of the line.

So how will Montanans celebrate the 4th of July?

Check Out These Events Across Montana

In Missoula, they're having the "4th at the Fort" celebration, and that event goes from 10 am until 4 pm at the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula. This is the 46th Annual event and there will be fun for the entire family. Activities will include games, food, crafts, and a whole lot more.

In Helena, it's the Capital City 4th of July Celebration at Centennial Park which will be fun for the whole family. There will be bouncy houses, hot dogs, root beer floats, and a whole lot more.

Of course, thousands of Montanans will get together with family and friends to celebrate in their own way.
