Montana has seen a surge of COVID cases in several counties and shows no signs of slowing down. Gallatin, Yellowstone, Flathead, and several other counties have current cases of COVID-19, and the new variant could be a cause.
The new variant was first discovered in the Midwest and has spread throughout America since October 2023. The cases aren't as high currently as in 2020 and 2021, but if people aren't taking precautions we could see another surge.
It doesn't hurt to keep a few at-home tests in your home, and if you start to exhibit some of these new bizarre symptoms, you should get yourself checked out.
