It’s So Ugly! This Is Easily Bozeman’s Biggest Eyesore
Many places in Bozeman aren't unpleasant viewing experiences, but one spot has been an eyesore for years.
Bozeman is a gorgeous place to live and enjoy daily. There are rolling hills and mountains to enjoy as the sunsets over them, and the downtown area is fantastic. There are also plenty of stunning houses to admire.
Bozeman seems like the perfect place, right? Not entirely.
Sure, Bozeman has some stunning features and places to enjoy, but some spots in Bozeman could use a facelift.
Bozeman has had several radical changes over the past several years, but several buildings and areas have been empty with no sign of anything new happening. Some spots would be perfect opportunities to build new businesses or affordable housing.
So, where is the biggest eyesore in Bozeman? You can find it on 7th Avenue.
7th Avenue has had some massive developments of new restaurants, businesses, and apartment structures. One spot, in particular, has been an empty plot of land for years with nothing going for it.
Which area on 7th Avenue are we talking about? The old K-Mart location is on 7th Avenue and Oak.
The building was demolished almost a decade ago, and all that remains is a parking lot with weeds that grow between the cracks, an Applebee's, and a closed-down Famous Dave's.
This area is the worst eyesore because it could be improved and used to benefit the community. The city could build affordable apartments or a building that could house several businesses or restaurants, but nothing is happening.
