Bozeman Police Warns of Two Phone Scams
The Bozeman Police announced on their Facebook that there are two different phone scams circulating around the Gallatin Valley.
One of the scams is a "missed jury duty" phone call. The ask the person they are calling to go to Lowe's and buy gift cards and then send the scammers the card numbers to avoid getting in trouble.
The other phone scam is from "Captain Peterson with Gallatin County" asking for gift cards to settle a fine or not showing up for jury duty.
If you have received either of these calls, please contact the Bozeman Police Department.
