What does this zip tie mean?

Allegedly, it means that you have been chosen/marked as a person to rob or even worse, kidnapped.

What should you do if you find a zip tie on your door?

  • Stay calm
  • Check all of your surroundings
  • Lock your doors when you get into your vehicle
  • WAIT until you are home or to a safe spot to remove the zip tie.

The hopes for the criminals is that you will try and remove the zip tie right then and there, giving them the opportunity to rob you or grab you. You don't want them to have any extra seconds to commit a crime.
