It's always sad to see a local business close its doors, especially after serving our community for over 30 years. But for some, it's a way to catch a breath, take a step back, and daydream about having a weekend off.

Retail is hard work. Long days, finding good help, giving up weekends, and especially during the holidays, making sure you are open for peak hours to bring in much-needed revenue.

Silver Annies has been in business for over 30 years, serving up some of the loveliest handcrafted pieces of jewelry. In fact, I got the cutest ring last year for my birthday—a little gift to myself. So I, for one, am particularly sad to see that it will be closing its doors on December 31st of this year.

Follow their Facebook page for any updates, sales, and other news that may be coming your way!

There is great news that comes with this, though! It looks like Silver Annies will still be at some of our favorite vendor events throughout the area! So you'll still be able to buy their jewelry. Phew!

Before you run out of time, stop by Silver Annies at 107 E Main Street in downtown Bozeman to say thank you and best wishes! You never know what you might find! I will be watching for Silver Annies on the road as I shop around at different events this spring, summer, and fall.

We sure will miss you downtown, Silver Annies, but best wishes and good luck! Enjoy some much-deserved "you" time.
