ALERT: 8 Inches of Snow Possible by Sunday Morning

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for some mountain areas in southwest Montana through Sunday morning.

According to the National Weather Service:

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM MDT SUNDAY.

WHAT...Snow expected.
Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches expected.
WHERE...Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains along the Beartooth Highway.
WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 AM Sunday.
Travel could be very difficult.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties.
Expect snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
