It's been a busy day at the airport adding new flights.
The Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport announced starting November 20th, 2020 Alaska Airlines will start a direct year round non-stop flight to Los Angeles' LAX airport.
This was one of 12 new flights for Alaska Airlines out of Los Angeles and according to Alaska Airlines' press release some of the flights are as low as $39 one way.
This will be Alaska Airlines third flight out of the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. They also offer direct flights to Seattle and Portland.
Honestly, we should be really excited about this new direct flight to Los Angeles from Alaska Airlines due to the fact that flights from Bozeman to Hawaii through Alaska Airlines will be way more affordable.
Who doesn't want to soak in the Hawaiian sun?
This will be now the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport's sixth direct flight to Los Angleles' LAX airport. Delta, United, Allegiant and American Airlines all have direct flights to and from Los Angeles.
The fifth direct non stop flight to Los Angeles from Bozeman was announced earlier this day. JetBlue is changing their flight to Long Beach from Bozeman to Los Angeles in December 2020.
With the new airport expansion getting closer finishing they will need new flights or airlines to fill up those gates and it looks like we have one new flight so far.
Los Angeles is a great destination and with so many direct flights there that will create competition and make round trips more affordable and make international flights cheaper.
