Wind Advisory for Butte Area Tuesday

Gusty winds up to 45 mph are expected Tuesday on the I-90 corridor, especially west of Butte.

According to the National Weather Service:

WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 7 PM THIS EVENING.

• WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
• WHERE...I-90 Deer Lodge to Anaconda, and Highway 12 Garrison to Elliston.
• WHEN...From noon today to 7 PM this evening.
• IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
• Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
