Considering John Mayer has a home here in Montana and his recent support toward flood relief, after this past summer's devastating floods took over our beloved Yellowstone National Park, you would think that Montana would make the list for his recently announced tour.
Mayer released his upcoming Solo Tour and scrolling through the list, I noticed something was missing. Montana.
With summer concert season just around the corner, there have been a few different tour announcements that have also skipped out on Montana and made stops in surrounding states.
P!nk is making a stop in Fargo, ND at the Alerus Center, which holds around 22,000. The concert is in August so you still have time to grab tickets if you want to make the easy drive. But unfortunately, doesn't head any farther west for that leg of her tour.
Luke Combs is going to be performing in Minneapolis, MN, and then heading to Boise, ID for a stop. He will be literally passing right by Montana, which is incredibly unfortunate.
I feel like Montana misses the boat on a lot of really great performers. So what is the solution to help Montana stop missing out on some really great concerts?
Indoor practice facility for our Bobcat Football team. Kenny Chesney's show last summer at Bobcat Stadium was incredible, to say the least. In order to have more performances like that one, we need to have our current stadium more available. Not to mention...our Cats would most likely benefit from having an indoor practice facility. Just some food for thought.
Montana State University Gold Rush Game 2022
The day was hot and so were the Bobcats. The first game of the season against McNeese State, and the Bobcats were ready to send those Cowboys back to the south.
Temperatures close to 100 degrees, didn't stop our Bobcats OR their dedicated fans. Bobcat Football brings out fans of all ages to cheer and be a part of a dream for many youth. Future Bobcats right here? I hope so, they already have amazing spirit!
The Bobcats took the win with ease, staying one step ahead of the McNeese Cowboys, the team looked fresh, ready, and the end score proved they were ready to come out on top of the season opener.
With a final score of 40-17, the Bobcats put the southern boys back on a plane with their first loss of the season, and the first win for our Bobcats.
Week two is just around the corner with a home game on September 10th, which also brings the Military Appreciation game. Just one way we love to show our Military Personnel an extra THANK YOU.
If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, be listening to Derek and Megan in the morning on 100.7 XL Country ALL week for your chance to score a pair of tickets to the next home game.
Also, make sure to stop by our XL Country Tailgate to register to win concert tickets, gift cards, and of course, MORE BOBCAT TICKETS than any other station. GO CATS GO!
Kenny Chesney Comes To Montana 2022
It's crazy to think it has been YEARS since Kenny Chesney has come to the beautiful state of Montana. After 3 years of waiting, the Kenny Chesney fans were not the least bit disappointed. Selling over 24,000 tickets, Kenny Chesney, Old Dominion, and Carly Pearce put on one heck of a show.
