The Missoulian reports that there isn't just one but two groups seeking to put initiatives on the 2020 ballot to legalize recreational marijuana.

One of the groups, MontanaCan, already sent a ballot initiative to the Montana Secretary of State.

It would legalize the use of recreational marijuana use, establish the state's duties in facilitating the industry and establish tax revenue policies.

The second group, Coalition 406, hasn't proposed any initiatives yet but is still holding focus groups and is administering surveys before they put something together.

Both groups would need 25,000 signatures to qualify the issue for the November 2020 ballot.

Both groups though are for the tracking, testing, and regulation of the state's medical marijuana program, taxing recreational marijuana at 15% and reducing or limiting the tax on medical marijuana.

How do you feel about these possible initiatives being on next years ballot?
