Traveling Montana To Canada? Better Think Again, Friend
For the last couple of years, it has been difficult if not impossible to travel to Canada. It disgusts me to think about the families that had been separated for so long during that time. I remember praying for some of my friends who had lost their parents, siblings, and close friends to death during that period of border closure.
The CDC (The Center for Disease Control and Protection) announced today, that the United States and other countries should think twice about traveling to Canada...again. The full article is HERE.
In an article by Reuters:
The CDC elevated its travel recommendation to "Level Four: Very High" for Canada, telling Americans they should avoid travel, while the State Department also on Monday issued its "Level Four: Do Not Travel" advisory for Canada citing COVID-19 cases. -Reuters
I understand not wanting to be a part of the "spread" of the latest Omicron Variant, but I do have a question. And it is legit a question, not one looking for "smart mouth" answers, a question looking for a bit of logic.
Question: Isn't going ANYWHERE in public considered a "close contact" for COVID? Think about it, some people are asymptomatic, some people don't show signs right away, and some people, let's be honest, don't care if they have it, they will go on about their day. So is not going to Canada going to lessen the chance of us, or them, spreading the variant?
I'm open to all answers, opinions, and suggestions. I have asked questions in the past, and some of my favorite reader do not care for them. That is totally fine, I enjoy some good banter.
