Taylor Swift Is Trademarking “This Sick Beat” and More

Taylor Swift is a lyricist. Literally. The words stick in your head and just won't leave. Don't go putting those song lyrics on anything too soon because it looks like Taylor has plans for "This sick beat," "Party like it's 1989" and "Cause we never go out of style." I need those shirts, like, now. 

If Taylor Swift's trademark request is approved, you may not make anything with her words on them...because she wants to make them! Tay has applied for a list of phrases from her 1989 album to be trademarked, mainly related to merchandising.

How great would shirts with "This Sick Beat" on them be? I totally want one already.

The phrases we could see on merchandise will be:
