street view

I know this because I'm afraid I'm going to end up as a meme on their street view images. Everyone knows about Google Maps and their vehicles that periodically capture the world. HOWEVER, Apple is in the game as well and the Apple vehicle is making it's way through Montana. But there are issues.

There's far more to this Street View situation than the logical statement of "well, there are tons of places in Montana that don't have streets". You know, huge chunks of wilderness and stuff. That certainly contributes to the lack of street view mapping, but it's not the whole story.

Details on the 'when' are a little murky but it looks like all Montana counties are on the list to get an updated Google Street View this year.

Oddly pleasant to watch, you'll find yourself yelling at the screen with Montana pronunciations and where these guys actually ARE in Montana.
