‘South Park’ Preview: Butters Confronts ‘Game of Thrones’ Creator George R.R. Martin
Last week 'South Park' took us by surprise in crafting a 'Game of Thrones' parody wrapped around the concept of "Black Friday," but not so surprising as to learn that the story will continue in a second episode! Watch what happens when Butters takes his 'Game of Thrones' grievances to George R.R. Martin himself in the first clip from "A Song of Ass and Fire!"
As picked up from his complaints last week, Butters arrives to George R.R. Martin's house looking to take a meeting with the "Song of Ice and Fire" author, lamenting that dragons have had relatively little presence in the story, despite being so heavily advertised. Meanwhile, here's what Comedy Central had to say of the rest of the episode, which features Randy taking up the mantle of the Black Friday watch, while Cartman continues pressing the kids to join them in getting XBox Ones:
Hordes of souless shoppers approach the mall in anticipation of the Black Friday sales in an all-new episode of "South Park" titled "A Song of Ass and Fire," premiering Wednesday, November 20 at10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
The console wars are heating up in South Park. Princess Kenny's betrayal has left Cartman out for revenge. The kids prepare for an epic battle where one faction's favorite gaming device will come out on top. Will Stan and Kyle's friendship survive Black Friday?
With 'Game of Thrones' season 4 not due until the spring, will 'South Park' be able to provide our fix in the next chapter of its epic saga? Check out the first clip from "A Song of Ass and Fire" above, and give us your predictions in the comments!
