While we were busy getting ready and hosting our St. Jude Country Cares Radiothon last week, some really cool happenings took place that we missed. We want to make sure that you know about them, so here's a couple of examples our local community shining again.

Masonic Lodge Provides Computers for Schools

Gallatin Mason Lodge #6 provided some local schools computers to help facilitate online teaching and learning. Along with Ancient Free & Accepted Masons (A.F.&A.M), the Gallatin Mason Lodge #6 provided some desktop computers to the Bozeman School District and several laptop computers to the Gallatin Gateway School District. These donations will aid in improving access by both teachers and students to online and in-person public education within the local school districts.

Three Forks Speech Team Wins State Title

The Three Forks Wolves Speech & Drama team competed recently in the Class B/C State Tournament. The Speech team won the Class B state title for the first time in school history! Congrats!

The Drama team earned the Class B state runner-up title. This was only the fourth time in Wolve's history that both the Speech & Drama teams placed in the top two of state. The teams received a parade in their honor last week atop firetrucks through town.

Congrats, also, to Alexis Welch, who won the individual state title in extemporaneous speaking. This makes Alexis the only Three Forks student ever to win the state title twice! Way to go, Alexis! And congratulations to all of the team members on both the Speech & Drama teams.
